Equality House

The Westboro Baptist Church is probably one of the most notorious anti-LGBT hate groups that exist, and is located in Topeka, Kansas. Across the street is a house owned by Aaron Jackson. It is painted the colors of the Rainbow Flag.

Before 2016, on Transgender Day of Remembrance, Equality House would be painted the colors of the trans flag. When 8yr old trans girl Avery Jackson visited, she was inspired to raise enough money to buy the house next door in order to have a permanent Transgender symbol of peace. In 2019 it was named Mott House after the death of Kansas' transgender activist Stephanie Mott.
